BELOW ARE SOME OF THE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT HYPNOSIS, HYPNOTHERAPY AND COMING IN FOR A CHAT
Q. Is it normal to feel a little bit embarrassed or awkward about seeking help?
A. Certainly – it’s very natural! The first step can be the hardest but also the most rewarding and it’s totally normal to have a bit of a blip in life sometimes or to need a little help to get through certain problems and situations.
Q. I do feel a bit nervous though, what happens when I come in for a chat?
A.When you come in for a chat, please be assured that you will find me completely non-judgemental and easy going and I will do my best to help you feel at ease so that you feel comfortable and free to talk about anything you want to in a safe, friendly and totally confidential environment and I will do my best to answer any questions you have.
Q. Can I be Hypnotised?
A. Anyone can experience hypnosis as long as they are willing and not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Q. But can I get stuck in Hypnosis?
A. No, never, you can come out of hypnosis at any time.
Q. Will I remember everything afterwards?
A. Yes
Q. Will I say something that I don’t want to reveal or make a fool of myself like they do on stage performances?
A. You cannot be made to do anything against your will and not reveal anything that you don’t want to. It is a wonderfully relaxing state but you are in complete control at all times.
Q. So, what does hypnosis feel like then?
A. It is a lovely, deeply pleasant relaxing feeling where the person can achieve a heightened sense of focus but is still in control of all faculties and senses.
